Monarch Casino Black Hawk invites moms and dads to toast Back-To-School time with special Parent's Weekend cocktail

“School Daze” combines coconut, pineapple, strawberry and rum in icy mix for one last blast of summer before fall routines resume

Now that kids are back in school all across the Denver metro area, parents may be longing for a final taste of summer before the mad rush of after school activities and the holidays arrive.

Monarch Casino Black Hawk is a quick and scenic 45 minute drive from Denver where adults can enjoy some gaming, a generous, mouth-watering buffet and, on Friday and Saturday, September 8-9, a special cocktail to celebrate the start of school and end of summer, plus some great live music!

School Daze is a combination of two hot weather classics: the Pina Colada and the Strawberry Daquiri. This tropical blend promises to extend the feeling of sunny lazy afternoons away from home and work, and- in this case- the kids!

Adults who join Club Monarch can earn a free delicious buffet with just 50 points on their rewards card. Everyone who visits will appreciate the friendliest service in town, the best fresh whole Maine lobster, crab and USDA Prime Rib buffet and the huge variety of table games, video poker and Exclusive Premiere slot machines situated on two floors.

Additionally, from 5 - 10 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday, visitors will enjoy the fantastic Hazel Miller Band featuring Coco Brown.

Monarch Casino Black Hawk is the first casino you see when arriving from Denver on Highway 119. Valet and covered self-parking are available, as well as affordable bus service running hourly from Aurora and Lakewood. Buses also run frequently throughout the day from downtown Denver and southwest Denver. Once in Black Hawk you can park in the beautiful and easy-to-navigate parking garage, then take the free shuttle service that is a quick and convenient way to get from the parking garage to the Monarch Casino.
